About the School

Linkou Senior High School was founded in 2000 and is located in Linkou New Town, New Taipei City.
The campus covers about 5 hectares and provides a modern and comfortable learning environment.

Currently the school has:

  • 45 classes

  • About 1,900 students

Our school vision is:

We aim to provide high-quality education while helping students grow academically, socially, and personally.


School History

  • 1995 – The Taiwan Provincial Government approved the establishment of Linkou Senior High School.

  • 1998 – Mr. Chang Bao-Kuang was appointed to lead the school’s preparation.

  • 2000 – The school officially opened and enrolled its first students.

  • 2006 – Ms. Tsai Yi-You became the second principal.

  • 2010 – Mr. Luo Ching-Yun served as acting principal.

  • 2010 – Ms. Lai Chun-Chin became the third principal.

  • 2013 – The school became New Taipei Municipal Linkou Senior High School.

  • 2017 – Mr. Kao Pai-Ling became the fourth principal.


Academic Programs

Excellence in Teaching

Our biology teaching team won the Gold Award in the Ministry of Education Teaching Excellence Awards.

Their project, “The Power of the Microscopic World,” introduces students to plant biodiversity on campus using microscopes and field observation.


Diverse Learning Opportunities

The school supports students with different learning needs by offering:

  • Additional math learning materials

  • Review lectures for the General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT)

  • Science and mathematics experimental programs

  • Remedial courses for students who need extra support
